It is well known that Mama Luvs Books is a huge fan of HEXBUG! We have reviewed HEXBUG Nano, Warriors, Aquabot, Tagamoto, and more! Every product we play with from HEXBUG gets better and better! My kids absolutely LOVE everything they create. I love the company because these toys are innovative, engaging, and fun techy toys that the kids will play with by the hours! The new HEXBUG Nano V2 is the latest evolution of the HEXBUG, and what makes these toys special is that THEY CAN CLIMB! You heard that right! These HEXBUG toys climb up the tubes and move all around. They are so fun, and the kids can use their imaginations to build different combinations of courses for the HEXBUG toys to maneuver through. All the sets can connect and work with each other. The sky is the limit!
We wanted to show our friends about these great toys, especially because the holidays are coming soon and we didn’t want them to miss out knowing about the HEXBUG Nano V2 to add them to their wish lists. We decided to throw the Ultimate Play Date and have our friends over for some games, yummy food, and playtime with the HEXBUG toys. My daughter loved introducing the kids to all the different sets; HEXBUG Nano V2 Black Hole, HEXBUG Nano V2 Hurricane, HEXBUG Nano V2 Barrel Roll, and HEXBUG Nano V2 Sky Max. It seems the HEXBUG Nano V2 Black Hole set was my daughter’s favorite set, but overall the thing that all the kids loved the best is that the HEXBUG Nano V2 version CAN CLIMB! They truly loved playing with each set, and any set you pick up for your kids this holiday season will surely be a hit! We also love that the HEXBUG Nano V2 insects come in different colors that both girls and boys love!
For a fun “bug game” to get the party started, we played our own version of HedBanz that we call BugBanz! It was fun to get in the “bug mood” by trying to figure out which bug was on our head. The kids came up with some great questions and many were able to figure out their bug. It was a lot of fun!
After the game, my daughter gave a little demonstration of the different HEXBUG Nano V2 sets, and then it was play date time! Each child got their own Nano V2 to try out in the different sets. They had a blast playing with the toys, and then it was treat time! My daughter made some buggy cupcakes all by herself. She was very invested into planning and prepping for this party, and I created some buggy dirt cups. I layered some chocolate pudding, chocolate chips, Cool Whip, crushed chocolate creme Oreos, and a gummy worm to top it off! It was buggy-delicious!
The kids loved the treats and their party favors, which were the HEXBUG Nano V2 toys. One child asked me, “Are you sure I can keep this?” It was so cute when I told him yes, and he had a huge smile across his face. This sounds really fun. I sent an e-mail out to my 11 year old son’s friend’s moms suggesting that we all purchase the same or similar things for the boys so that they can play together! These Hexbugs would be perfect!!!!! I cant wait to share with them. THANKS!
That is the ultimate playdate! AMAZING!! I can’t wait till my kids get a little older to play with Hexbugs!! Look at all the creative fun and I love the dirt pie cups!
Those look like so much fun. I am glad that my kids are finally getting to the age that they will have friends over. I would love to throw parties like this for them.

My boys are big HexBug fans and are so intrigued by the newest ones. It is so cool that the can climb, My boys also want the fishbowl ones…. waterproof bugs, super cool!
