ableBanking Helps You to Help Others
~ Who Doesn’t Love the Idea of Helping Those in Need? ~
As I have young kids, I feel the importance to save money and to help those in need are two crucial concepts to teach them. ableBanking feels the same way! If you haven’t heard of them, then you need to learn about what they can do for you and to help you do for others. Isn’t that what life is truly about? Helping those around you to build a strong and healthy community.
ableBanking is an online-only savings division of Northeast Bank, a community bank based in Maine since 1872. They want to help their customers save more and support the causes they care about. You can choose which charity you want the money to go to, and the concept is to save more and give more! How great is that?
Upon opening an account, each customer receives $25 to donate to any charity, as well as an annual donation of .25% of their annual balance ($2.50 on every $1,000). That is a much higher percentage than most banks, and as an online-only savings platform they’re able to provide no fees and better rates to customers.
It’s so nice in this economy to find a bank that helps you to help your community. Please consider looking into ableBanking to help you SAVE MORE. GIVE MORE. Since they are online they don’t have the overhead costs of branches and can save you more (better rates, no fees, fast online service)! It is very easy to set-up an account! You can find them online at ablebanking.com
Check them out and see what they can do for you! I’m sure you’ve seen many of my posts helping others in the community, so you know giving back to others is something I truly care about.
You can see my daughter here selling lemonade to earn money and save! You can never start too early to teach your kids about saving money and also helping your community as well.
A Word from ableBanking:
“With ableBanking, not only will you save more, you can spend our money to support any charity you choose – and if you’d like, you can donate your own money too. Why? Because we think you know your community better than we do.”
EXCLUSIVE offer to Mama Luvs Books readers:You can use a promo code when you sign up for ableBanking! You will get $50 to the charity of your choice, which is up from the normal $25. The special code is “25250” which you will enter it at sign-up. Click here to sign-up: https://www.ablebanking.com/Floater/select-your-product.aspx

I’ve never heard of them, but I need help saving for Addie and her medical bills. Thanks for this post!
What a great concept. I think it is so important to teach our kids the importance of giving back esp in this materialistic society! Love that ableBanking is doing this. Thanks for sharing!
What a great concept!!
In a me, me, me, instant gratification world, it’s hard to teach kids about saving for the future. This is a really nice idea and it not only teaches financial responsibility, but social responsibility, as well.
I never heard of them but I love the concept!!
That is awesome! I’m all about teaching my kids the value of a dollar, about savings and about giving to others. This is great that they can do all of those things in one spot!
never heard of them before but it sounds like a great concept
I am so happy to learn about and to support companies who are actively making positive change in the world! Thank you for letting me know about them. I will certainly spread the word…not everyone has extra money these days to give to charities, but when big companies give us the opportunity to help I appreciate it so much.
What a neat concept, I have not personally heard of them but this is something Ill have to look in to we are always trying to save around here.

And look how happy she is with that lemon-aid stand!!!
Love this concept! I’ve never heard of them before, but I know that saving for school is going to be a big issue for me. I like that you can support charities too 🙂

this is a great reminder for me..esp. in teaching my kids to start saving at an early age.
I hadn’t heard of them! But they sound great! Teaching kids to save while they’re young, will last a lifetime! We made it a game with our Son and now, he works for Google and loves paying his house payment ahead! 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway!

This is such a great idea!
Great idea. Banks helping to save more rather than take more.
I think its a great Idea for our children@ I have not heard of this before but I would like to find out more about it!
Wow i love it! What a great idea to keep kids busy and out of trouble!

I had never heard of this what a great idea!
awww i remember doing lemonade stands as a kid!
Great idea!
This is a wonderful idea!!! Thank You for sharing!! <3
awesome concept!!
This is a really neat idea – I’m really glad you shared and I’ll be talking about it with family and friends!
I have always been a supporter of children learning to earn their own money. That may be old fashioned but I believe alot of children in this day and age are given too much because most parents feel guilty about leaving their children to work and try to gain their friendship by buying them stuff.
I hadn’t heard of them but I will certainly spread the word:)
Very interesting. I too had not heard of this.

I’ve never heard of them! But i love what they’re doing.
That’s cool – it’s nice to hear that there’s still a bank out there that’s not quite as scum-tastic as the big ones!
I Like the idea of the donation program when opening new accounts, very enticing.
Don’t we already help people through the massive amount we pay in taxes and what we give to our churches?
Love that they give to charities. Dont love the online banking only option, it makes me nervous not to be able know a physical location
What a great concept! I hadn’t heard of them before either. Thanks for the information.
