Week 13: My New Motivation

The Thirteenth Week……… 

I Have Some New Motivation!


I am in my thirteenth week on the Nutrisystem diet, and even though this is my first week back to exercising the scales sure did not show it. I gained an entire pound this week. So bummed. I was even doing well with my water and exercising. I’m not sure what happened. Gaining is not fun though.

I was feeling really bad about it when one of my fellow bloggers here in Rhode Island asked if I wanted to be part of her Project10 program she was starting. She decided it would be fun if a bunch of mom bloggers from Rhode Island wanted to get together to encourage each other, help with tips and advice for one another, and just be there to support living healthy together.

Yes, yes, yes!!! This is my new motivation for wanting to continue with the path I am on. It will help give me even more support, although I will say the Nutrisystem group as a whole is very supportive as well, and the online tools are amazing.

Also, our group’s personal health adviser will be Running and Cupcakes! She has some great health and fitness tips on her site! I will be back next week with another Nutrisystem update and my update with Project10 to get my exercising in gear!

Starting Weight: 165
Current Weight: 159.2
Total Loss: 5.8 pounds!!!  (That’s a 1 pound GAIN this week)!   =(

  2. YAY, I’m beyond thrilled to be part of this group. 🙂 We will all cheer each other on and do great. I’ve been working on cutting back the snacking during the day, eating healthier dinners, adding more fresh fruits & vegetables into my day and drinking more water.

  4. I’m just starting to exercise and portion control. I’ve lost one pound. I have at least 25 more pounds to go. I feel like I’m getting ready to climb Mt. Everest. lol. Congrats to you on your 5.8 lbs, that awesome! You’ll make that 1 lb. gain up in no time.

  10. I’m so excited about Project 10: Real Women, Real Fitness!! I lost 15 pounds 2 yrs ago and then really hit a wall. I’m hoping this group helps me break through!!

    I think having a great support system behind you is AWESOME! How nice to be able to hang out with friends while getting healthier! That’s so cool and I can’t wait to hear more about it!
