The "Fancy Nancy" books by Jane O'Conner (author) and Robin Preiss Glasser (illustrator) are probably are wonderful books for vocabulary building.  We have many of them, both the hardback books and the Step-Into Reading paperback series.  My daughter was interested in them by age 3, and was even using words in her preschool class like stupendous, accessories, and lavender.  Here is what we like best about them:1.  Easy to read (except for the … [Read more...]
