Disclosure: I was compensated with park tickets for writing this post; however, all opinions are mine and mine alone. Taking a trip to Storyland in New Hampshire is truly an amazing way to end the summer with the kids. We needed a last minute fun trip before school started, and boy was this the right choice! My husband had to get work done, so I drove myself with the kids and a neighbor friend four hours to Glen, NH! We stayed at the North … [Read more...]

I Promise Not To Suffer: Book Review and Giveaway
One of my favorite books that I ever read had to do with climbing Mount Everest, and now I can add another book to my favorites' list that also deals with overcoming the elements and pushing yourself to achieve a goal. This one is called I Promise Not To Suffer by Gail D. Storey, and she and her husband set out to challenge themselves by hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. Big sister was not there to sit with little brother on the bus anymore. It was even more of a change that both kids were in school for the full … [Read more...]

Preparing to Be a Mom with Kids in School Full-Time
Well, the time has come. I officially have no more babies. And I am not sure how I feel about it. On one hand I am super sad I will not have little ones at home with me this school year, but on the other hand since I have a full-time job now it will definitely give me a quieter home to work from. I always knew I would be back to work by the time my youngest was in school all day, but those "baby years" sure did fly by fast. Heck, I haven't even … [Read more...]
