So, how do they work? We have the Battle Arena so the kids each take one Warrior Hexbug and place it on the track. The Warriors battle it out with both starting in match mode (green) and as they get hit by the other bug and battle it out, the colors switch to yellow and then to red. As their “health” decreases the light will flash more! Once solid red the bug turns off and they’ve lost the battle! My kids like to track and see who wins on a chart. This would be a great tool for teachers too that want to have a fun math lesson with making graphs and charts! Super fun and exciting to see who wins each time!!!

My boys would so love those! They kind of give me the creeps though. Hello…BUGS…lol. But they are quite cool I have to admit.

It is wonderful that a company came out with an affordable item that can keep kids occupied for more then 2 seconds! That was a very good idea you had about teaching about graphs and math–kids learn much faster when they are enjoying themselves!!

A great suggestion for a stocking stuffer I’m going to look for them when I’m out and about this wknd.
My son got Hexbugs for Christmas last year and one went under my stove, while it was on. I couldn’t get it out, so I had to wait for it to die out so my stove would stop vibrating. My youngest thinks they’re so cool.
Anything that battles is great for my son and his friends! I didnt know that they made these. I will have to tell the mom’s of my son’s friends that we could all do them as stocking stuffers so they whole group can battle each other on play dates!
Our son was asking for these and would love them, they remind me of bayblades.

I haven’t seen the huge hexbugs yet! My son collects the tiny ones, and both my boys enjoy hours of buzzing fun!
