What Comforts of Home Do You Miss When You’re Away?
We are either traveling or having company come to our house during the holidays, because we are the only ones from both sides of the family to “move away!” We are originally from the DC area, so both sides of the family are still there. We are now a seven hour drive away in Rhode Island. The holidays are the toughest time because you really want to see family during this time of the year and traveling or hosting house guests can be hard. What better way to make things a little easier for you and your family by providing some comfort items from home. Sometimes we’ll pack our favorite cereal, bring a favorite pillow, or even travel with our own toilet paper. Not only do people have preferences for certain types of toilet paper, but also you feel bad using all the toilet paper in someone else’s house, so it’s nice to bring some to share anyway.
