It is Freezing Out in Rhode Island ~ How do YOU Feel About the Cold? {Giveaway: Honeywell EnergySmart® Surround Ceramic Heater}

So, the past two days have been the coldest in Rhode Island in the last two years. We have temps in the single digits with the windchill below zero. Now that’s cold! Did you know that males and females react differently to these cold temps? Check out this cool infographic below:

So, what do you do to fight these cold temperatures? Do you grab a blanket? Turn up the heat? Light a fire? Use a portable heater? I know when I get cold and cuddle up under many blankets! We have an air system in our house with a heat pump and during installation they realized they could only get one vent for the entire downstairs, so in the winter it can get really cold down there. And guess what? That’s where the master bedroom is! So we are cold at night. I just found this great portable heater that I want to check out. I think it would help out a lot to keep the areas of our house warm that we are in and for less money than trying to crank the central heat a few more degrees. Check it out!
