Mothers Care and JOHNSON’S® Cares
That’s Why Giving Back Is So Important
I am a mother of two wonderful and caring kids. From being a mother, there is a part of you that has the urge to want good for all kids. I am happy for what my husband and I can provide for our kids, but there are those kids out there that need extra aid to live healthy and happy lives.
This Mother’s Day we spent together relaxing as a family and eating out at Seven Moons (our favorite restaurant)! We also grabbed Pinkberry healthy frozen yogurt for dessert. My kids (hubby actually) gave me two gorgeous bracelets from Alex and Ani. It was such a nice day, but I couldn’t help but think of those moms that didn’t have what I had. Moms that can’t provide for their kids, and the kids that need extra help. I am so glad to hear that companies like JOHNSON’S® is taking extra steps to help these families in need.
JOHNSON’S® has partnered with Save the Children to help with providing essentials to moms and kids worldwide to aid in improving their health and well being. It’s called JOHNSON’S® Baby CARES!
One of the great things this charitable program does is to donate and distribute thousands of JOHNSON’S® Baby “Care Kits” (stocked with baby essentials like lotions, washes, shampoos, diaper creams, etc), providing families with baby care essentials immediately after a disaster. This commitment is an extension of their existing product donation efforts aimed to meet baby care needs in the U.S. and around the world.
JOHNSON’S® also provides funding that enables Save the Children programming, such as Child Friendly Spaces, which supplies moms and children with safe areas to recover, play and experience the joy of being together as a family following a disaster.
I love that there are programs out there like this. Moms have the natural instinct to want to help other moms and kids in need, and this program is a great way to do that. They can’t do it alone though, so here’s how you can help! And there are SO many ways to help out!
You can make a donation on the JOHNSON’S® Facebook page. Please check it out for more information about the program and to LIKE the page. Also, JOHNSON’S® will donate an additional $50,000 to Save the Children when they achieve 500,000 views on their “Happy Mother’s Day, Mom — You’re Doing OK” video! Being a parent and raising happy and healthy kids is important to our entire community. The world as a whole will be a better place if everyone chips in to help each other out. Happy moms lead to happy kids, which leads to a happy and better world for all in the future. So please take a minute of you time to view the YouTube clip, or spare some extra money to donate to a great cause. Thank you JOHNSON’S® for organizing such a wonderful charitable program.
