Nutrisystem Week 3 – Vacation Week – Was Away; Now I’m Home

The Third Week………

I am in my third week on the Nutrisystem diet. This week I was traveling from Rhode Island to DC for the week. I was able to pack many of my pantry items to get me through the week. I did fairly well. My praises are passing up birthday cake, not snacking with others, and sticking mainly to Nutrisystem foods. My challenges were chips at the table at the Tex-Mex restaurant, being at restaurants in general (where I ordered unsweetened iced tea and salad), and still not being able to add exercise into my regimen. I hope to get cleared from my doctor soon. I know I need to at least start with weight training this week. If you missed any of my first few Nutrisystem posts, please read them HERE so you can see where I started.
My FAVORITE Food Item of the Week:
Chicken & Dumplings
This old fashioned favorite is comfort food at its best! White meat chicken is combined with light, tender dumplings and carrots in a rich, savory chicken gravy. This is a substantial, soul-satisfying dish with homemade flavor and goodness.

PROGRESS SO FAR:
Starting Weight: 165
Current Weight: 163.6
Total Loss: 1.4 pounds
Here’s to a NEW WEEK! I still need to work on water intake and exercise. Please leave me a COMMENT telling me what accomplishments you had this week in your journey to be healthy!
