How do you watch your Netflix? At first we just used our Wii to stream Netflix. We watched all of Orange is the New Black, House of Cards and The Tudors through Netflix streaming on our Wii to our big screen TV. Lately though, I have been addicted to watching Netflix streaming on my iPad mini! I have spent MANY hours streaming Pretty Little Liars, Switched at Birth, and Wentworth. All great shows and worth watching! Here are my top five reasons I like to stream on the iPad Mini. And of course you can stream on ANY device that you can get the Netflix app.
Top 5 Reasons to Stream Netflix on Your iPad Mini:
1. It’s convenient! You can carry it with you wherever you go. Use your headphones and tune out everything to enter your Netflix world! Anywhere….anytime!
2. It’s very easy to watch one episode after the next. In fact, if you step away as the credits are rolling the next show will already be playing for you when you get back!
3. You can sneak and stay up late at night watching Netflix and you don’t bother anyone with a loud TV on. I’ve never watched Netflix until 3am…..NEVER! LOL!
4. It’s actually easier to search and play shows and movies on the app than on the Wii. In my opinion!
5. And last but not least, it’s great to have for the kids when you need it! I have to take my son to LONG gymnastics meets and streaming a movie for him is a perfect way to pass the time quietly with the headphones. LOVE IT!
What’s NEW for kids on Netflix Streaming this month?
We sadly lost our family cat, Jasper, this month. It was hard on our family, and we were literally checked out for a few weeks and just spent time with him. Netflix just released “The Adventures of Puss in Boots” which is a PURR-fect movie for a cat loving family. I thought at first the kids might not want to watch it, but they actually felt okay enough after a week of putting our sweet Jasper to sleep and decided they wanted to give it a try! They did great, and in fact it made them happy to talk about cats and how wonderful cats are in general. They found it amusing and the graphics were great! Make sure you check it out with your kids!

We love that we can watch Netflix anywhere. My kids love that their favorite movies and shows can go along anywhere with them.
I am such a fan of Netflix Streaming! I watch it all the time on my iPad, I love how it doesn’t have to be just on a tv! Lots of great series and movies to choose from!
We have Netflix, and I love the streaming. Many’s the time I’ve watched a movie or a show while I was waiting around for an appointment.
We have and use Netflix almost exclusively as our form of entertainment- Sabrina has a Roku in her room and just loves streaming all her favorite shows. I know she was stuck on Penguins of Madagascar for a while but I will have to show her this!
Ah we love Netflix! My kids each watch their own favorites on their own tablets 😉

We LOVE Netflix! We just got our girls a new Blu-Ray player that has wi-fi inside to even catch Netflix in their rooms!

I love this – we have Netflix and I didn’t realize this great feature. I can only imagine the sanity-saving it can provide when you’re out somewhere and have a long wait with kiddos!

Yes, it certainly is convenient that you can watch shows on your tablet or laptop. Kids love to watch their favourite movies.
Puss in Boots is my son’s new favorite show. He asks to watch “the kitty show” at least once a day.
I love streaming on my devices. For movie nights we pop a Netflix movie on the big screen though!

We try to limit screen time with the kids but being able to stream netflix to a couple of different devices at the same time can be invaluable for when you REALLY need to get something done. No fights over what to watch, everyone is happy.
We love netflix, we’ve never even considered cable and now that we have high speed internet and netflix, we never will. My husband does complain sometimes about not getting all the hockey he wants, but small price to pay.
