Zoomer Dino: A Hot Toy this Holiday Season!

Zoomer-Dino

Holiday time is approaching, and parents are probably wondering what the HOT TOYS are for this season! Well, I can definitely tell you one of them. Zoomer Dino is a toy that is going to be all the rage! And rightfully so! This fun toy is already flying off of shelves. We found ours at Walmart, and the lady in the toy aisle told us that they can hardly keep them in stock because they are so popular. If you see one while you’re out shopping, you might as well pick it up and stash it away for the holiday! I know I have a closet at home where I keep my “secret stash” of holiday toys! I like to be done with my shopping by December 1st!

What makes the Zoomer Dino so cool that kids will want this for the holiday? It’s like their own little pet Dino that they can play with, interact with, and hopefully tame. He name is Boomer and he has moods, likes some things and not others, and responds to human interactions. Want him to sit? Try a hand signal in front of his face. Want to make him mad? Try pulling his tail. And oh boy is it entertaining when he’s mad. His eyes turn red, and he makes noises and moves around quickly. The kids are always thinking he’s coming to get them. My daughter likes it best when he’s curious or calm. She snuggles with him when his eyes are green. There is a paper that comes in the package with Zoomer Dino that tells you what all his eye colors mean, how to interact with him, and how to use the remote as well if you like.

What’s really cool is that with the True Balance Technology, Boomer perfectly balances on two wheels as he moves around. He can even get himself upright after he falls over. Oh, I almost forgot. One of the things my kids find the funniest about Boomer, is sometimes he even lets out dino-sized burps and farts! That’s when they really start cracking up! My daughter is 10 and my son is 7, and both genders and ages seem just as enthralled with this toy. I think we are going to have to get a second one (if I can find it quick), so they stop fighting over poor Boomer.

The dino itself recharges with a plug that can fit into a wall charger or a computer. For the remote control you will need three AAA batteries. Both are fun, but I think my kids like playing with Boomer without the remote most the time. You can train Boomer to dance, chase, chomp, and roar. His eyes will light up to let you know if he’s happy or mad, senses your hand movements, and likes being trained. Check out the video below of my kids interacting with the Zoomer Dino!
