What’s better than keeping your kids’ minds and bodies active? Giving the gift of Sports Illustrated Kids will help to stimulate your child’s mind with reading and encourage them to stay active in sports. Staying active and getting your kids involved in sports at an early age will provide them with the love to keep moving and to stay healthy. With technology in the forefront of our society, not enough people are getting out and staying active. Get your kids off the iPads and iPods and get them moving!
My daughter is a competitive gymnast, and November through April is her big competition season. We just had her second meet yesterday, and through hard work and perseverance she was able to improve her scores and come in 3rd All Around! She was very excited to be able to get on the podium and receive her trophy for her hard work. She will definitely be staying active this winter!
Sometimes as the weather gets colder in the winter, it’s harder to get out and move! Check out local places where you can do indoor activities as well. My son likes to swim at the YMCA, and he can do that year round! Kids also need to exercise their minds, and reading issues of Sports Illustrated Kids helps them to grow in their reading skills with getting them excited with content that is relevant to them! My kids love reading about sports since they love participating in sports! Active minds and active bodies makes for smart and healthy kids!
Just in time for the holiday season, Sports Illustrated Kids is now offering a special subscription for you and your readers. Now when you purchase an entire year of SI Kids in print and on tablet for $19.95, you can send another gift of 12 issues (1 year) for only $5! How awesome is that?

Congrats to your daughter! My kids love Sports Illustrated Kids, I know my subscription is almost up but I will renew it just because the kids enjoy reading it so much. Great post!
I didn’t know about the Sports Illustrated Kids! My kids would love it!
This is such a great gift idea for kids. Thanks for sharing.
Congrats to your daughter!!! WOW! I agree that kids LOVE this magazine. We have been getting it for 4 years!
I have a nephew that I can’t decide what to get for Christmas this year. I think this is a great idea. Thanks for the suggestion!
This would be a great gift to add to our son’s Christmas list! I always forget that Sports Illustrated has a kids magazine.
Congratulations to your daughter!
Oh my nephew and nieces would LOVE this! All three of them are totally into sports!
What a great gift, especially for the sports kid that does not particularly like to read. I have to fight with mine to read his homework stories but he will sit for hours and read about things he enjoys!
My 7-year-old subscribes to several magazines and he loves coming home to find them in the mailbox. But he doesn’t currently subscribe to any sports publications! Hmm…
Oh man, my son would go wild for this, great gift idea!!
Yep. Nailed it. A gift of a magazie subscription is so awesome! It encourages (in this case) kids reading AND being physically active- way to go SI!
Congrats to your daughter!! This would make a great gift for my niece!!! Thanks for sharing, that is a pretty good price too!
I think my son would love this for a gift!
What a great gift for sporty kids
Congrats to your daughter. We love sports in our household. My daughter is really into watching them, too. She would love the SI for Kids magazines. Thanks for the holiday offer.
That is so impressive and you’re right that she won’t have any trouble staying fit. I like that SI has a mag that speaks to kids!
I think this is a wonderful holiday gift idea for kids!
My son used to get this magazine and he loved it. I think a new subscription is in our future! Thanks for reminding me!
What a great idea for a gift.
What an awesome gift idea!!! Will pass along for my friends with older babes!! Thank you!
We love SI for kids!
My son loves SI Kids, he loves getting them in the mail. Mostly for all things football. Congrats to your daughter that is awesome, what a champion! 😉
Wonderful idea. Looks like your little gymnast (such a cutie) is off to a great start with that trophy! Congrats! 🙂
My daughter is a cheerleader and I can’t believe how it has changed since I was young. Some of the girls even do back tucks. Yikes! All but three of the girls on the squad can do back handsprings. It’s very competitive out there in every sport.
This would be great for my oldest son, I am trying to get him back into sports.
Congrats to your little girl! My kids would probably love SI Kids magazine. We have never subscribed, but they are really getting into sports.
The other great thing for giving them SI for kids is: they see kids their age excelling in the sport that they love. It can motivate your child.
When I was a teen, I loved magazines. I wish my kids liked them too. I wonder if this one would spark their interests.
my kids love getting mail- i thinkwe are subscribing my son to SI for Kids this year!
My son gets Sports Illustrated Kids and is so excited every time it comes in the mail.
I remember reading this mag as a kid. I’m sure my daughter will love it once she gets a bit older.
I remember when my aunt and uncle got us a subscription to a magainze for a Christmas present. It was fun to get it all year round!
This is great!! I might be getting this for two of our young family members !
What a fantastic gift idea. Perfect for a young athlete.
