Max Steel Viewing Party: The Ultimate Playdate

Have you heard of Max Steel? This will undoubtably be a hot item this Halloween and Holiday Season! From the DVDs to cool toys to costumes, there is so much you can do with the the newest and coolest superhero from Mattel. Max is like any other high school student, but when he teams up with Steel their combined forces unlock superhero powers that help them conquer their world! What little boy wouldn’t love a superhero that can conquer the world? This animated series, airing on Disney XD, revolves around the trials and tribulations of an ordinary teenaged boy named Maxwell McGrath, and his out-of-this-world alien companion, Steel. This animated series and toys that go with it are great for boys ages 4 and up. Middle school boys even love these! 

We had a viewing party at our house to show my son’s friends the cool new Max Steel series. We watched the movie together while having a carpet picnic of pizza, applesauce, juice, and cookies! The boys (and girls, my daughter and her friend were participating too), were all captivated by the show. It was silent when they were watching it. I asked them what they thought, and in unison they said, “We love it!” Some boys were already familiar with Max Steel and were psyched to be watching it! I love that the movie showed humor and friendship between Max and Steel. Together they operate as one inseparable duo showing that the power of two is better than one! This is a great lesson for boys to learn; teamwork!

Even though they truly loved watching Max Steel, I think the real highlight of the night was being able to play with some Max Steel toys! Talk about the ultimate playdate! Every boy that we had over got a new toy to play with. It was fun seeing the smiles on their faces when we gave them the toys and told them they could keep them and take them home. My son opened the sword first. I have to say….THIS. SWORD. IS. AWESOME. This will definitely be a toy that kids will be asking for this holiday. So, what makes this sword different than most? There is an assortment of different figures to choose from, and we found that each one had a different cool trick it could do. These fully posable six-inch figures have their own unique action features that correlate to their character. Some have signature moves, weapons or superpowers. Integrated LED light effects also showcase the figure’s strength and power! There are eight different figures to choose from, and they cost $12.99 a piece. The boys all loved discovering what cool features their figure had and learned to work them quickly. Definitely the playdate of and little boy’s dreams. The Max Steel toy line also includes a Max Steel costume (MSRP $21.99-27.00), perfect for boys this Halloween.
