Holiday Gift Guide 2013: Tagamoto “Code the Road”

Disclaimer: I received the Tagamoto to review; however, all opinions are mine and mine alone.

I have a new toy to add to our Holiday Gift Guide for 2013 and this is DEFINITELY one you don’t want to miss! It’s called Tagamoto by the makers of Hexbug (who you know we adore). It is truly one of the coolest toys I’ve seen in a long time! There are many reasons my kids love it, and many reasons that I love it as well. First of all, what is Tagamoto? It is a high tech toy for kids where they can use codes to have their cars do different things on the roads they create. It’s not just the mindless watching of cars going in circles around a track, but instead kids can put codes on the tracks that the cars read as they move over them. The codes can make the car lights turn on, music play in the cars, give the cars a flat tire, make the car go slower (35 mph), and much more!!! It is SO cool!!! Lights..Sounds..Action!

Here are the things my kids love about Tagamoto (from their mouths):

1. You can “code the road!”

2. It’s so fun to make new ways for the cars to go.

3. The cars go fast.

4. We love the code stickers and when the lights and music turn on!

5. The police car is the best!

Here are the things that I love about Tagamoto:

1. It is truly an innovative toy, and one that really gets the kids thinking (where they want to place the codes, how to build the track, etc.).

2. It keeps the kids occupied for hours and they are having fun! The kids can even move the stickers around over and over to create new ways the road works!

3. The pieces are easy to put together, so the kids can create the tracks on their own.

4. The sets/pieces are small, so it’s easy to play with and fit on a table (and clean-up is a snap)!

5. The toy is affordable, well-made, and easy to store since the pieces are small (I need this for my small house)!

We all 100% recommend this toy! You can purchase Tagamoto at Target and on Amazon. This most likely will be your child’s favorite toy they receive this holiday! Here is the 65-Piece Enforcer Road Set that we have (and it is a great set to start with – $27 on Amazon right now)!

Make sure to check out Tagamoto on Facebook and Tagamoto on Twitter!

Now, for Tagamoto in action!!! See my kids discovering how to use the codes! They LOVE it! This is my first video I shot while we were learning how to use Tagamoto, and even though the house is not picked up perfectly I decided just to use this one so you can get the real reaction of the kids (and me) while learning how to use Tagamoto! It’s truly an AMAZING toy!
