Quick Southwestern Dinner 3 Ways with Tyson’s Any’tizers Boneless Wyngz!!

When I am deciding what to cook for dinner or what to make when I’m entertaining, I think of three things….

1. Is it quick and easy?? I can be definitely be ambitious sometimes, especially when it comes to throwing a party, but when it comes to cooking with 3 little girls, quick is the name of the game.
2. Can both adults AND kids eat it? I am totally over making multiple meals for me and my husband and then my girls. If I’m making something good, we are all gonna eat it. That’s the deal!
3. Will it impress? I am always looking for some new and fresh ideas that although may be quick and easy, are also tasty, memorable and satisfying too.

My family likes chicken. It can get pretty boring when I’m trying to think of ways to cook it all of the time… grill… bake…. skillet… casserole…hmmmmm. That’s about it. So when I heard of these new Any’tizers Boneless Wyngz made by Tyson (which means good, white meat) I figured that this could be a winner!

Tonight I tried out the Mango Habanero (the hubby likes spicy) and Sweet Garlic Glazed (for me and the girls). I decided that the delicious chicken was already seasoned and cooked to perfection, so all I had to do was figure out a base. In the mood for a Southwestern night?  Here ya go….Dinner 3 Ways! Southwestern Wraps, Rice or Salad Bowls, and Dippers!

What you’ll need to make a quick Southwestern inspired meal:

  • Tyson Any’tizers (I used 2 bags, 1/2 of each bag): Mango Habanero and Sweet Garlic Glazed
  • Fresh Lettuce (for salads, topping or as a side)
  • Steamed or cooked rice (I used white basmati)
  • Flour or corn tortillas
  • Your choices of toppings: I used corn, black beans, shredded cheese, avocado, sour cream and a Southwestern dressing.

What you’ll need to do…

  • Bake the Any’tizers Boneless Wyngz in your oven on a cookie sheet at 400 degrees for about 15-19 minutes.
  • Choose a base: Lettuce, Rice, Tortilla or Skewer!
  • Place your chosen flavor of Tyson Any’tizer Wyngz on your base
  • Choose toppings: Lettuce, black beans, avocado, corn, sour cream, cheese (any many others!)
  • Build your delicious masterpiece, and Enjoy!!

The best part about this meal is that it was easy and inventive! And, I was able to have something that I loved, my husband was able to make his own “spicy” version, and the kids loved it too. I will say that it can be tough to impress my husband when it comes to already prepared and frozen foods, but he definitely gave this meal and the flavor of Tyson’s Any’tizers Wyngz a thumbs-up! For my next party I am sure to try Any’tizers as dippers on skewers. They are delicious and hassle-free, and make a really nice presentation. As you can see, my kids didn’t frown at tonight’s dinner either, and that is half the battle of making a meal in my house.
