I am new to using the Finds app on my iPhone, but I am loving it already. This app helps you to see things your friends are buying and recommending. This is the perfect app for shoppers that love sharing their styles and finds with others. How does it work? Well, it’s fairly simple! You just take original photos of new things you buy, type in a description of the items, and then the app will automatically link your photos to where they are located online so your friends can find them and buy them too! How cool is that? People always see others posting online about things they are buying and now it’s as easy as clicking on the “FIND” button on their posts to see where to get the items yourself too! No more asking, “Where did you get that?”
How can you get Finds and use it? Well, to start it’s a FREE app that you can download on your iPhone from the App Store or find it in iTunes Store. It is compatible with the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad; however, it does require iOS 6.0 or later. Make sure you update your phone to get this version. This app is optimized for iPhone 5, but I have a 4S and it works great!
All you need to do is get the app, join, discover the finds others have made, follow some friends, and upload finds of your own. Some cool features are that you can like and comment on people’s finds, add items to your “wishlist” and click on the word FIND on each discovery to take you to a place online where you can find it to purchase the item.
Let me walk you through a find I made! I have a really great pair of Reebok ZipTech shoes I bought recently and really love! They are supportive shoes that are comfortable, stylish, and affordable. I would love to share these with others to get too! All I did was click on the “+” sign in the middle bottom of the screen, take a photo with my iPhone, add a description of my item, put a comment telling others about it, and then finish by clicking on DONE! That’s it!
I love that I can find cool products that others are interested in with honest reviews. It’s also fun to share what you find as well! I hope to spread the word about this app so more of my friends start using it and I can follow them! I can’t wait to see my friends’ finds! I love seeing what they love and now I can easily find where to get it!
