As a busy mom of two little ones, I’m always on the look out for new kid friendly products and gear. I recently had the opportunity to explore the online store, Pish Posh Baby.
Pish Posh Baby was launched by a mom, who like so many of us, was overwhelmed with the whole process of getting ready for baby. The site features a variety of high quality products; from strollers and car seats, to high chairs and nursery decor. Not only is the website bright, fun and easy to navigate, but the retailers obviously know their products well. You can read detailed information and reviews about each item. They also show multiple photos of a single item, which I love! The more pictures the better I can understand the product.
I was impressed by the quantity of quality products featured on the site. I could have spent hours drooling over the Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bags or dreaming about myself going on long jogs in the springtime, pushing my new Bob stroller.
Unfortunately, I’m on baby number two. I have more diaper bags then I’ll ever need and I’m pretty sure my husband would question my sanity if I purchased another. And, as far as the jogger goes, I actually have two in the garage collecting dust as I write. I’m pretty sure it’s not the stroller that’s the issue.
Instead I decided to be reasonable and actually purchase something that I needed. My four year old son goes to daycare during the week, and often loves to bring a little toy from home with him to share with his friends. Sometimes it’s a book, but more often than not, it’s a handful of Matchbox cars, a new game of Memory, a puzzle…or something else with a million little pieces. My son recently celebrated his 4th birthday and we were inundated with new toys and games. He has been so excited to share his new games and toys with his friends, but transporting them back and forth is challenging. I had recently seen an advertisement on television for the Lay-n-Go® LITE Activity Mat, and was so excited when I found this item on the Pish Posh Baby website. This would be the perfect solution.
While I was ordering, I couldn’t help but peek around the gifts section of the site. With a new baby girl, I’m frequently experiencing mommy guilt. I feel like I need to get a little something for her, every time I make a purchase for my son. I’ve got to keep my love and affection evenly spread between them. So, as I was searching, this bright little thing caught my eye. It was a car seat and/or stroller attachment toy, called the Tiny Love Sunny Stroller Arch, and I had to have it! My little girl spends half her life in a car seat these days and she’s my fine motor kid, very reachy and grabby. This had her name all over it.
I placed my order and the check out process was quick and painless. I used a credit card, but was excited to see they also take PayPal, which I have been using more and more for my online purchases. I was immediately emailed my order confirmation and a link to track my package. We were super excited when the items arrived on our doorstep 3 days later. Love that Pish Posh Baby has quality products that are easy to order! Every busy mom need that!
We immediately opened the Lay-n-Go® LITE Activity Mat when it arrived. My son had recently demolished the box that contained his new Angry Birds game in an attempt to independently open his new toy. He was excited to bring the toy to show his friends at daycare, but I was hesitant because there were so many pieces and the container was in shambles. We laid out our mat and the items in the Angry Birds game fit perfectly and neatly inside. My son quickly figured out how to operate the toggle and pull the string to secure the items inside. It was a great way to organize his toys, and to efficiently transport the item to and from his daycare. I could squish it up inside his backpack and not have to worry abut carrying around bulky box. And, as those working mommas know, the less items one needs to be responsible for in the morning, the better. It’s also great to take on family trips!
And, my daughter absolutely loves her stroller toy. I was a little worried that it might not be compatible with her car seat, but I was immediately reassured once I removed the toy from the packaging. The entertainer connects to any seat with a vice-like clamp on either end. It’s fantastic because not only will it work with my Graco Car Seat, but I can also easily attach this to my Baby Jogger City Mini, when the time comes (hopefully very soon!). The clamp is easy to operate, and the whole thing works on pivoting joints, so the position can be customized depending on your need at the time. The toy is bright and colorful, and I love that it doesn’t light up or make loud sounds. It just rattles or crinkles, and stretches or spins. There is really nice visual and auditory feedback, without being overwhelming for baby. My little girl was enamored immediately and has been reaching and pulling and batting every chance she gets.
Overall, we were very impressed with our Pish Posh Baby purchases. I highly recommend checking out the site! Here are a few things we loved about it:

I really like the Kidkraft Metropolis Train Table and Set.
