Tips for Taking the Perfect Picture of Your Little Ones

evie and cash

All parents want to catch that perfect moment with their babies and little ones so they don’t miss a thing. Those cute smiles, the first time rolling over, or just while they are sleeping. Photographer Erin Manning gives some great tips about taking the perfect photo of your little one. Check it out below:

  • Photographer, author and educator Erin Manning provides her Top 3 Tips for capturing better baby photos. Erin gives you advice on setting the scene and getting close to the baby for those perfect images, as well as using a SanDisk Ultra SDHC card to make sure she never misses a shot.

So, remember to set the scene, get close, and be ready!! I truly believe in what Erin says about choosing the right memory card. I also use the SanDisk Ultra for better quality photos. I switched to these about a year ago to use with my Nikon D3100, and I noticed the picture quality as soon as I starting using it. I definitely recommend using them if you want even crisper and clearer photos.

  8. Oh I wish I had these tips about 3 years ago when my baby girl was still a baby!! Seriously, she’s too busy and moving now to get any good pictures. lol. But back then, I really could have used her tips to getting better pictures of my daughter.

  9. I’m always trying to improve my photography. I love it when I have the perfect shot of my kids. SanDisk is the only brand we buy!

  10. What a sweet picture! My best way to get good pics of the kids is just to start snapping! If I take 30 pics I know the odds are great for getting at least one!

  11. I never realized how much a memory card could help with quality! 🙂

  12. Those were good tips. I need to start taking more pictures with my camera. I take them with my phone all the time. I want to get a high quality camera to take pictures of my kids when they’re playing sports.

  14. Man, I wish I would have known you were posting about this! I would have loved to have done a post together- I could have made a post on tips and tricks to pair with your giveaway! Let’s try and plan something like that 🙂

  15. Great picture! I would be lost without my camera and my Sandisk !

  16. We also use SanDisk. I’ve found getting close and staying aware of the background produces the best pictures.

  17. Adorable pic! We just bought a memory card! I think it’s sandisk 🙂

  18. It is always hard to get those special moments, my son will do so many things I would love pictures of, then if you get a camera, he refuses to do a thing. Thank you for the ideas.
