Nutrisystem Week 11: Filling Up!

The Eleventh Week………

 

Filling Up on Mother’s Day!


I am in my eleventh week on the Nutrisystem diet, and it happens to fall on Mother’s Day weekend. Some enjoy a huge Mother’s Day brunch or a fancy expensive dinner out, but this year I am filling up on something quite different. Instead of celebrating with food, I am celebrating with hanging out with my family and spending quality time with them. I am filling up on memories and love instead of the buffet!

What I used to love to fill up on VS. what I fill up on now:

Chocolate Cake…………………….Walk on the Beach with my kids!

Donuts………………………….Picnic of healthy food with the family!

Large meals…………………..Smaller portions of healthier options.

Sugar-filled coffees………………………………………….Plain Iced Tea!


Don’t get me wrong, you can enjoy donuts and chocolate cake on the Nutrisystem diet! The meals they send have some of those sweet items. You just need to make sure you are eating the ones they send you so you can mark down the items and their correct calories. Chocolate lava cake out at a restaurant will not be the same calorie count.
 
You can fill up on Nutrisystem food and feel satisfied! Fill up on healthy eating, fill up on getting exercise and moving around, fill up on more water, and fill up on confidence that you can do it! The more you fill up on those things the more likely you will be healthy and be around to fill up your kids lives! Good luck this week! Don’t give up! I haven’t. I was discouraged with my health setback, but I am starting anew! I lost 1/2 a pound this week and that’s progress again. Give yourself a GREAT Mother’s Day gift of health for your kids and START NOW!!!

  7. Congrats! Keep up the great disciplined effort. 🙂 My husband and I only try to splurge on our date nights, which are not as often as we would both appreciate. However, a date could be a hike up the mountain, a walk in the park, or occasionally dinner at our favorite rest. (where we splurge lol).
