As the movie “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” will be opening on December 21st (see trailers HERE), I decided to go back and look at the story once again to refresh my memory of the details of the book! I also thought it would be cool to see what other people might think about this book and the character Lisbeth Salander.
The Psychology of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, a collection of essays in which 19 psychiatrists and psychologists get inside Salander’s head, is a book I would LOVE to read. It’s edited by Shannon O’Neill and Robin S. Rosenberg, PhD, who moderated a The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo panel at New York Comic Con.
I enjoyed reading The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo. I wonder how the movie will compare.
That book sounds so interesting. And I’m with Emily. I wonder how the movie and book will compare.
I hope the movie doesnt ruin the book!! lol THe book was great!
Can’t wait for the film too! Did you know you can download 3 tracks for free from the soundtrack? It sounds suitably dark and menacing…
I know!! I hope the movie is good too! The Swedish films were very close to the books!!!
Love this book!
Honestly I’ve never read it … but I’d love to!
I haven’t read it yet. The movie looks great though!! I definitely want to read it before seeing the movie.
I enjoyed the books as well as the Swedish film versions and am looking forward to the new movie.
I just started it and I really love it!
