My kids love their Webkinz, both playing with them online and snuggling with their plush toys! They have had a few different ones over the past couple of years, and they never get tired of playing with them. Especially when they get a new Webkinz to add to their collection! Then they want to play non-stop. I need to start having my kids earn their Webkinz time, because they just want to be on it so much! You constantly hear them say, “But my Webkinz needs more food! I want to earn more KinzCash today!” I do love how it makes them want to “take care of something” and they worry if their Webkinz is happy and healthy!
It’s fun to play with the kids together for a little mom and kid time. I play more with my 5-year old because my 8-year old tells me to leave since she already knows how to do it. My son likes to have me help him, watch him take care of his pets, and show him how to play the games. Webkinz comes out with new types of stuffed toys all the time! My daughter just recently got a horse as part of the Rockerz collection. It’s a country music star that comes with a stage online to play with. She loves it! Both my kids now have Webkinz on their lists for Santa! The more you get, the more you can add online! You can also have them interact with each other online and add new rooms for them.
My kids take care of their pets online (while they snuggle with their plush toys in their laps). The feed them, play with them, bathe them, play online games and do jobs to earn more “money” to buy their pets more food, clothes, furniture, toys, etc. They now see how people need to do things to earn money to get what they want. Money does not grow on trees! They also love getting new Webkinz because you set them up with the secret code you get with your stuffed animal, and you always get new treats at the beginning for a new pet, a birth certificate printed out, and a starter medical exam. They love registering new pets! Don’t lose your secret pet code because you’ll need that to register your pet online!
Make sure to visit the Webkinz website, their Facebook page (where you can also play with your pets), the Facebook game, and follow them on Twitter for updates and information. We played through the Facebook page, but we like playing better on the site itself!Also, make sure to find a store where you can buy your pet, and see their Holiday Gift Guide for the new Webkinz that are out!

I have seen webkinz before but never took my kids on the web to do any of the stuff related to it. I will have to give it a try now that they are older.
I forgot all about webkinz! They are such a brainchild of someone who knew children need to grow up and learn to care for others, but still wanted to see the “child” in their kid — don’t you think? I loved buying them for my step-son and then seeing the satisfaction in his eyes as he fed and cared for them 🙂
I have a small fry over here who keeps asking for one! I rally had no clue what it was until now. I think I might just have to tell Santa about this! 🙂

My Mom’s kids in her class LOVED these things. Apparently they used to all talk about the games they played and stuff! So cute!
These are so cute! I’ve heard of them off and on but never knew much about them. I’m sure my kids will love them in a few years! The idea kind of reminds me of giga pets that I had as a kid…these little pet things that were in a tiny computer on a key chain and you had to feed them, bathe them, etc.
I didn’t know much about these before reading this post. I’ll definitely have to keep Webkinz in mind for when my kids get older.

I love WebKinz, we have the donkey (actually 3). It was the toy of choice for my youngest so we bought back ups just in case one got lost. They are so adorable.
