Try Webkinz Friends On Your iPad
~ Two Great Ways to Play Now ~
My kids LOVE Webkinz! In fact half of their Christmas Lists this year are for certain Webkinz they want. They love adding more pets and more rooms to their accounts. If you read my first post about Webkinz, you’ll remember my kids love the games to play, taking care of their pets (making sure they have enough food and that they’re happy), and my kids love doing jobs to earn more KinzCash so they can buy their pets things. It’s just very fun for them to play online and then hold their stuffed pets in their arms. They snuggle with their pets and line them up on their beds at night.
As they LOVE Webkinz so much, you can just imagine how much they are trying to “borrow my computer.” Unfortunately, I need to work on my computer quite often and can’t always let them have a turn. I have now found the perfect solution! They can use mom’s iPad! There is an app called Webkinz Friends that you can download for FREE! It’s so nice that they can use the iPad now instead of just the computer.
The Webkinz Friends App is fairly similar to the Webkinz World program on the computer. Miss Birdie comes up at the beginning, you can play games, build a town, and even put in a pet code to “adopt a pet.” The nice thing about this app though is that you don’t have to own a pet and have a code to play. You can just play the app and build your town. It’s really cool! My kids are ages 8 and 5, so they can use this app very easily (they figured it out better than me)! I know my daughter also likes to play with her friends that have the app as well. They can interact with friends and visit their towns.
Things My Kids Like About the App
1. That they can register their pets on the app, or just play without codes if they want to.
2. They like being able to use the touchscreen of the iPad.
3. They have fun trying to build the BEST Kinzville that they can.
4. They like visiting the KinzMart to purchase businesses (like the Donut Shop, the Candy Store, and the Fancy Restaurant).
5. They like being able to play with their friends and visit their friends’ towns, as well as go into their pets’ rooms.
6. They like the cool things you can use to build your town (buildings, roads, etc).
7. They like that it is similar to Webkinz World, but has some differences as well.
When I asked my kids which way they like to play Webkinz better, they said it was too hard to decide. They liked them both for different reasons. So, if you want to get a fun app for your kids, then download Webkinz Friends. They will have a blast and you can get your computer back from them! Two fun ways for the kids to play Webkinz! It’s also fun for a little family time as well! The kids love when mom and dad help them build towns too!
Make sure to visit the Webkinz website, their Facebook page (where you can also play with your pets), download the Webkinz Friends App for the iPad, and follow them on Twitter for updates and information.

They look so neat! I know Webkinz are all the rage, but I don’t think my kids even know about them bc we don’t have cable and they don’t see commercials. That app looks super cool, though, and I’m going to have to look into it for Christmas!

Holy cow! Webkinz sure have grown up since my kids used them a few years back! They keep saying they want to get more but they never have the time and it’s been 2 years since they logged in. I may get more for my younger son he would love them even more now!
