Cleaning the house after a long weekend! Its cold here so there are more clothes to wash as everyone was in layers this weekend.
I had physical therapy and the rest of the day will be spent with my daughter. I am thinking a wizard of oz puzzle and some tv time. Just resting and relaxing.

Taking my dog to the Vet to have his staples removed. He had orthopedic surgery to repair his knee and is doing super good!
It is a usual day for me.. 4/6 kids are sick with colds so trying to make them rest as much as possible since they are out of school today. Waiting for the hubby to come home from work so he can finish installing the new washing machine since ours quit working Friday while I was trying to wash clothes :/ Always something!!

I am Canadian, so I don’t celebrate Columbus today. Today is Thanksgiving, but we’re not doing anything as hubby is out of town. Went to walmart to get groceries, and just taking it easy in the house tonight. Maybe watch How I met your Mother if the kids settle down (3 of my 5 are sick).

Merry Rhodes, we are doing DIY projects. Replaced our hand finished interior doors, wow hard work. Then we started on Sanding, refinishing deck before winter. Started sanding and staining today. Boy, we are sore and tired!!! Having fun, deep sense of accomplishment!
I volunteered at the Salvation Army this morning to help with the application process for the Angel Tree & then I went to class.
Just a lazy, rainy day here in NC.

It was my husband’s birthday today, and we are all fighting colds, so my Mom came over and helped me de-dust our bedroom – it was a bigger task than I anticipated as we decided to take down all the drapes, wipe down the walls, move every piece of furniture out and redo our bedroom LOL. Then I quickly made steaks, shrimp, an appetizer, and salad in time for the hubby to get home. 🙂 then we had his birthday, and now I’m winding down by sitting down for the first time all day. Whew – maybe next year we’ll go somewhere fun.
