  5. Oh gosh I love books so much that I am not sure I can pick a favorite. But I would have to say two of the best books I have read lately were “The Help” and “50 Shades of Gray”!

  6. My favorite book and movie combo is Bridget Jone’s Diary. I must have seen the movies more than 50 times each, and it is where I go when I am feeling down.

  17. I love Nicholas Sparks books and was almost dissapointed when they came out with movies years ago. However, it is kind of fun to see how they interpret it.

  18. I love Lord of the Rings and Pride & Prejudice. I like it when a book is made from a movie. So much more detail can be put into a book that just isn’t possible with a movie.

  19. I love the Baxter Family series by Karen Kingsbury and the Cedar Cove series by Debbie Macomber (which is being made into a movie or series by Hallmark and I cannot wait!!)

  20. My favorite book is A Farewell to Arms by Hemingway, favorite movie is Dead Man on Campus.

  21. Loved The Help book and movie, The Hunger Games Trilogy, and “My Name Is Memory” by Ann Brashares. It was such a heartbreakingly good book and I hope that someday she gets to finish the intended trilogy. How this book ended, though, works fine as an ending; I’m just not ready to stop reading about these characters. 🙁

  41. I love to read and sometimes I just cringe when I hear they are making a book I enjoyed into a movie…I think the Harry Potter series (which my oldest used to learn to read)are the only ones that have really lived up to my expectations 🙂

  57. My favorite novels would have to be the Chronicles of Narnia series, I read every single one but the movies did not compare, actually put me to sleep.
