We are going to grill out with my parents and our boys, and just enjoy some time together. No fireworks here, our county is under a burn ban Including fireworks. I’m sure a lot of people will shoot them off anyway which has me a bit worried to be honest.

Going to a pool party – to escape the near 100° predicted heat! Then coming home to help our dogs weather the barrage of illegal fireworks that makes our neighborhood look and smell like a war zone every year!

1st thing hubby & I are celebrating our Independence by going shooting at the range. We’re taking some friends that are new shooters.
Then later we’ll have BBQ at our place with my in-laws

I’m taking my mom, son & grandma to my sisters for a cookout then later fireworks.

I was supposed to have a surgical procedure, but at the last minute they put it off by a week, so it’s kind of late to make plans. Maybe find some fireworks special to watch on tv and relax with family, catch up on a bluray I bought. Maybe get in on grocery deals and cook something special.
I plan on catching up on sleep, watching a movie and making tacos!

For the first time ever, we are in Canada and not in the country on the 4th! We are spending the day in Stanley Park and will save the fireworks/BBQ for next year. ��

we are grilling steaks, corn on the cob, and making a nice, crisp green salad to go along with it. We are also taking a swim in the pool today, too. Having an ice cold margarita sometime today, too.

No plans– I’ve been traveling, and my son woke up at 4:45am this morning with some gastro-intestinal bug. So we’re just hanging out at home, doing nothing!

Spent the day with the in-laws, grilled out, and let my son play with a few sparklers. When we got home we put on our own minor firework show and just got to enjoy spending time as a family.

Spent the day at my parent’s house with my husband and baby. It was her first 4th of July! We had yummy bbq steaks, loaded baked potatoes, and green beans. Dessert was delicious brownie sundaes. The baby is too little to go outside and watch fireworks this year. So I will probably watch the Macy’s special on tv so I can see Katy Perry perform. Happy 4th all!!!!
For the 4th Hubby and I are working on some designs for a new patio area for a client! work for us!!

We had planned to go watch fireworks (after bbq!) but they cancelled all fireworks in our area and banned us from doing them ourselves due to severe drought and concerns over fires. 🙁 So we just hung out with the family at home.

I had a awesome 4th! I live on a lake and everyone always lights fireworks off, so I took my son down and we had tons of fun 🙂

Colorado Springs has a complete fire ban, so no fireworks! :{ but spent the day at the pool with friends and then BBQ!
