A few months ago I was lucky enough to win a giveaway from Another Day In Paradise, and be introduced to Sweet December Hats which is a fabulous shop on Etsy! You can get so many cool things from Etsy, and this is one of those shops! The shop has handmade hats that are absolutely adorable, as well as handmade stretchy headbands and barrettes. Being as my kids are a little older, the stretchy headbands is the route we went. With the gift certificate I won, I was able to get three headbands for my daughter who wears them almost daily.
My daughter has long blonde hair and will not let me do anything with it. She is very insistent that I cannot braid her hair or put it in ponytails. It makes me sad, but at least she will wear these stretchy headbands that are beautiful and keep the hair out of her face. She loves them and wears one almost every day. If she would let me put her hair in a ponytail, you could use these stretchy headbands for that as well. I even borrow them from her on occasion, as they are one-size-fits-all!

Either the headbands for my 5 yr old daughter or a hat to give at a baby shower. We’ve had a baby explosion at our church and their are only so many boring towels and washcloths you can give!
