Week 12: Making Nutrisystem Smoothies with My Daughter

The Twelfth Week………

Making Nutrisystem Smoothies with My Daughter!

I am in my twelfth week on the Nutrisystem diet, and it’s my first week to be active since the MRI. Our family went on many walks this week, and I walked around the aquarium without a problem. I can also do the elliptical machine now as well. Hopefully progress will start moving a little bit faster.

For this week I made a Vlog (video blog) with my daughter to share with you. We decided to show you how we make Nutrisystem Smoothies with a little extra! We like to add some fresh fruit to ours and use the blender. I am not super happy with the Vlog, as I guess anyone losing weight does not like to be on camera. I didn’t set the camera up at the best angle either, so note to self ~ make sure the camera is above you and not below you! Not the best angle to view from, as it makes you look ever larger. On that note, I hope you enjoy how my daughter and I make smoothies using the Nutrisystem packets. Click below to view the video on YouTube.

PROGRESS SO FAR:
Starting Weight: 165
Current Weight: 158.2
Total Loss: 6.8 pounds!!!

Here’s to a NEW WEEK! Please leave me a COMMENT telling me what accomplishments you had this week in your journey to be healthy!

  3. Your daughter is so cute helping you out! Great job on the weight loss. My husband loves buffalo chicken, so this week I made a healthy version of shredded buffalo chicken and we ate it on salads. I hope to post about it soon, but it was delicious!

  6. That’s such a great idea for the protein shakes! I’ve been having mine “by the book” with only water and ice in the shaker cup! Now I must try this for myself! MMMM. Your daughter is a natural on camera!

  7. Congrats so far, im afraid the only thing this week ive done is to walk more than jumping in the car and trying to eat a little more healthier. Nothing compared to what your doing, keep it up !!

  8. She is a good helper! Don’t worry about the camera angle – you looked great!

  9. Omgoodness, Kristin! Your daughter is adorable! Tell her I think she did a fabulous job – what a big helper! And, those smoothies look soooo yummy too! I’m sitting here drinking my mean green veggie juice … cheers! And, congratulations on your progress thus far! Way to go! ♥

  11. First, let me just say what others have already said: YOUR DAUGHTER IS SO CUTE!!! I love how comfortable she is in front of the camera and how she really adds to what you’re saying! Now I want a daughter! LOL

I’ve never tried adding fruit to my vanilla Nutrisystem shake and now that I’ve seen you do it, I’m wondering why I haven’t thought of it! I’m gonna start doing this! I’m on my 11th week on nutrisystem and I’ve lost 8 pounds during my 1st 10 weeks. I’m hoping to get my weight down even more! Good luck to us!

  12. You are such a genius! I have never though of adding fruit, and putting in the blender and making a smoothie but I am SO going to try this! Thanks for the inspiration 🙂

  13. Aww what a great helper! I’ve been adding fruit to my smoothies too. Keeps me filled up longer 🙂
