Netflix Is There

Whether you are traveling during the Thanksgiving holiday or staying at home with the family, Netflix is there to stream and enjoy! The most important thing is that you are engaging with your kids and teaching them the importance of gratitude and being thankful. Both giving thanks and receiving thanks is a skill that is learned. We as parents need to instill this in our kids at an early age. One way to help educate your kids is through shows they can connect with and understand. Netflix has some great videos to stream to help kids understand being thankful for friends, family, and all they have this time of the year.

We will watch some tonight as we head into the eve of the holiday. Really discuss the importance of Thanksgiving before we get wrapped up into the running around of cooking and the beginning of holiday shopping. If you are traveling for the holiday, then streaming from Netflix on your mobile devices is a great way for the kids to spend the time with some engaging videos. Or if you are staying home like we are, streaming right onto the TV for a snuggly time on the couch with the kids is the way to go. Especially with the snowstorm on the way in the northeast. You can find titles that explore ideas of friendship and giving thanks, and even some entertainment for mom and dad too! We will be watching the all-new Netflix original, “VeggieTales in the House,” starts streaming TODAY, Nov. 26th. And of course we will definitely stream “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” as well, which is a family tradition.
