What’s Important to You This Holiday Season? Life is a Gift that Should be Treasured! #MC

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for CaringBridge. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

CaringBridge to Support Others

My friend just posted on Facebook today about her battle with cancer and how important each and every day is and to treasure family and friends. I completely agree! People get wrapped up in little things that really don’t matter and worry too much during the holidays about shopping and holiday stress. What is really important is our health and reaching out to those that need us when they are going through tough times in their lives. I use CaringBridge to help stay connected with those that truly need kind words and thoughtfulness, especially during the holiday season. This should be a season about caring, love, and supporting each other. Watch the short video below and see how even a few words can put a smile on a loved one’s face.

With so much joy surrounding the holidays, it’s important to take the time to share your support with friends and family in need. Find ways to connect and send them loving words of encouragement. CaringBridge is a nonprofit that provides free, personal websites, and it aims to help people to stay connected and receive support during any type of health journey. Be there with them on their journey step-by-step and help them through it. Isn’t this what really matters in life?

I follow a little girl on CaringBridge. She’s the niece of my friend, and I’ve been following her for years. She was born with a rare condition and has overcome many battles, even when doctors were unsure of her prognosis. She is the strongest little girl I know and continues to fight daily. I love seeing the photos her mom uploads, reading the stories her mom writes on the family journal, and writing messages of encouragement. I pray for her daily.

Happy Holidays to all, and remember what is truly important in our lives. Life is short. We need to treasure each and every day!
