This winter season has already started in Rhode Island, in fact it is 15 degrees out tonight! That’s pretty darn cold. And we won’t even talk about the New England wind chill. What do you do to keep yourself cozy and warm during the winter months? Curl up by the fire? Get warm blankets? We do all of those, as well as enjoy nice warm drinks to keep us toasty and keep the away the chill. The latest convenient drinks we tried were from Caza Trail and Grove Square. Everyone in the family loves to enjoy a nice warm drink, and Caza Trail and Grove Square have options that everyone loves!
My daughter and her friend went out to play in the snow, and when they came in she wanted to serve her friend a hot chocolate to warm up! Of course she wanted to do it herself. She’s a big girl now at age 9 and wants to do everything on her own. I gave her a quick little lesson on how to use the Keurig, and she and her friend each chose a different flavor of the Grove Square Hot Cocoa. The variety pack has milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and peppermint chocolate. She was so proud to learn the quick, easy, and convenient Keurig, and to serve some hot chocolate to her friend all by herself. I love these single size portion cups to use in the Keurig. It’s such an easy clean-up, and you can enjoy a warm beverage in a matter of minutes!
The girls definitely enjoyed their creamy and smooth hot cocoa, but I personally love the dark roast of the Caza Trail coffee with a little cream and sugar added to get me started in the morning! It’s such a bold and tasty flavor, which I know surprises some coming from a Keurig cup. Some people don’t think you can get nice dark roast flavor unless you brew coffee straight from the beans or visit a coffee shop, but I think the Caza Trail Dark Roast will give coffee lovers a run for their money in a blind taste test!
And for those mornings when I really am craving a warm beverage that is a little more sweet and mild, I really love to brew a cup of the Grove Square French Vanilla Cappuccino! It’s so creamy and really brings me back to those mornings in Italy when we would visit the cafes for breakfast. We’ve been to Italy twice, and there is nothing like sitting in the morning outside a cafe just people watching on the quaint streets. Cappuccino is very popular there and rightfully so. It’s a lovely tasting beverage with it’s own distinct flavor. I don’t even need to add any cream or sugar to enjoy it! You can purchase Caza Trail and the Grove Square products on Amazon! These would make some great gifts to put under the tree or buy for your friends!

The hot cocoa really looks good right about now! I love the single serve blends. They are so convenient and less wasteful than the full pot of coffee that I used to have to fix.

I have fond memories of playing for hours in the snow and then coming in to drink hot cocoa. We would always put peppermint sticks in ours and sit and giggle. Thanks for reminding me of those fun times!
I’m going to have to pick some of those up, I love hot cocoa during the winter time. And making it with the Keurig is just so easy!

The dark roast is AMAZING and I love waking up to it. My kids both prefer the peppermint hot cocoa. We’ve really been enjoying Caza Trail with all the snow we have here!

Hot chocolate has so many great memories for me, I like the fact that I can get the same flavor of rich chocolate with the ease of a K-Cup!
