As I see it, Derrick Levasseur of Big Brother 16 is already the winner. In my opinion, he is the smartest player the game has ever seen. Every move, action, word he has spoken was calculated to get him to the end. He always knows exactly what to say to others, and he’s made it so everyone still likes him (even when he is evicting them). Here are the top 5 reasons Derrick Levasseur is the Big Brother 16 winner!

1. Everyone that is sitting in the jury house is there because of Derrick. Donny and Nicole were catching on to his genius ways …. so he had to get them packed and out to the jury house earlier than expected. The jury has to respect the fact that they are all there because of him. Each houseguest, on their way out, seemed to be realizing that he truly is the mastermind ….. yet they still love him.

2. Derrick has Cody and Victoria both convinced that they should go to the end with him. “The Hitmen” and “Brother and Sister” alliances have given him security that he will be in the final two. I believe he clearly has Cody believing that he is happy to settle with 50K and that Cody will most likely win the 500K when they are “100% going to the end together!” Derrick always knows exactly what to say to people to get them thinking the way he wants them to. He literally Jedi Mind Tricks others to think they came up with the idea on their own when it was really his idea. In fact, Cody is practicing his final two speech on BBAD as we speak, which includes why he and Derrick made it to the final two together.

3. Derrick sells himself short around others because he wants them to “think” they are stronger, better, and smarter than him, as to not be a target and a threat. This is genius!!! It’s been working every time. And with his strategy of building up others egos and throwing comps when he needed to, he has managed to NEVER be on the block. 

4. Derrick is a friend to all. He made connections with houseguests. He would listen, console them, and give them advice on what is best for their game. By doing this Derrick gained the trust of others around him, and also built friendships so they respect his game. The number of alliances he was in is incredible: The Bomb Squad, Team America, the Detonators, The Hitmen, Los Tres Amigos, The Rationale, and the “Brother and Sister” alliance. “Blood is thicker than water,” said Victoria. We will see…….

5. Derrick wins when he has to. He won HOH at the perfect time he needed to. He made it so that Cody was the one to evict Caleb instead of himself, and once again he got NO BLOOD on this hands! This was one of his strategies that worked throughout the game. Not getting blood on this hands … EVER. Even when he did put people up, he said that it was “what the house wanted.” Very smart moves, and ones that he calculated right from the start. Now the final questions are …………….

Should Derrick keep to his word/alliance with Cody and take “The Hitmen” to the final two? 

Should Derrick keep Victoria around instead since she will be easier to win against? She was a floater the entire time. Derrick single-handedly took her to the end. 

Should Derrick throw the final comp to let Cody evict Victoria instead of him (keeping the final blood from his hands)? How much can he trust Cody? Is there a chance Cody might decide to keep Victoria around if he wins to give himself a chance at winning? Doubtful, but I thought I would throw that out there.

So many questions to be answered …. I think in any scenario that Derrick Levasseur will be the winner of Big Brother 16. I will be completely shocked if he is not. I think personally he should take Cody to the end to show loyalty and that the jury will see him for his calculated genius moves throughout the season. I cannot wait to hear his final speech! I would love to see Cody win some money as well. He’s the cutest and so nice and loyal! He deserves some too, not Victoria. $50K for Cody and $500K+ for Derrick!!! 

My husband thinks Derrick should 100% take Victoria to the end. Show his genius moves all the way to the end. That he doesn’t want to be “the person that took the wrong person to the end.” That he had played a flawless game before that. My husband also thinks he can sell loyalty to the jury about his deal with Victoria. 

In any case, whether he is with Cody or Victoria in the final two, or if he lets Cody win and be the one to evict Victoria …. he will still prevail. I can’t really see it going down any other way. He will be in the final two. Derrick Levasseur is declared the winner of Big Brother 16 to me! He will bring in a nice paycheck as well, since he was on Team America! I wonder what the houseguests will think once they find out he is a Police Officer? This last episode is going to be awesome!
