Mother’s Day Wish List
One Can Dream….
Mother’s Day is coming soon and I decided while shopping for my daughter’s First Communion outfit at Nordstrom, that I would look for a few things for myself. My mother was with me as well, so we made little wish lists of what we would want for Mother’s Day.
First of all, Mother’s Day is an important day to reflect on all your mother has done and will do for you, as well as what you do for others as a mother. We have all seen those “mom job” breakdowns and how much moms should really earn, and there is some truth in it; moms are caretakers, nurturers, teachers, accountants, maids, cooks, and much more. Moms deserve a day to be appreciated for all they do. I have a mom that has done and continues to do a lot for me, and also a sister that works hard as a mother as well. It’s nice to have that special day to share together as mothers.
We looked at a few sections of the store where we normally don’t buy things for ourselves. Jewelry and handbags in our family are not a need but a want. They are both something extra we get for gifts or on special occasions. We were both drawn to the Charriol line of jewelry at Nordstrom. The pieces were so elegant and stood out to us. We each picked a few things that we really liked. My favorite was the Celtic Noir Diamond Pave Bracelet. It was made of black steel, 18Kwhite gold, and diamonds and looked beautiful on. It was $2,995 and looked as if it could be worn both for a fancy event or casually.
My mom really liked the Columbus 18K white gold and diamond earrings. She loves silver hoops and this set took things to the next level of gorgeous. They were priced at $2,895.

The necklaces, “Nautical Cable” station bracelets, and rings were beautiful as well. The station bracelets were cool because they had diamonds segmented along the bracelet and you could get a variety of different ones with different amount of diamonds on them. They ranged in prices from $325 to about $1,250. We both decided if anyone bought us anything from the Charriol line we would love it! We normally purchase jewelry from parties like Stella & Dot and Lia Sophia, or we buy bracelets we collect from Alex and Ani. This line from Charriol would be a real treat for us.
We also believe that purchasing a piece of jewelry in this price range it must be quality, unique, and beautiful, and Charriol pieces are all of these. We don’t normally shop at Nordstrom on a regular basis, so this was the first time seeing the Charriol line for both of us.
After finding a veil for my daughter, we stopped and looked at some purses, shoes, and lotions on the way out. I found a Kate Spade purse I love, and my mom found a Coach bag to add to her list.
Shopping is fun, especially when you can make wish lists and dream of some fun things to get…..

I love Nordstrom’s we don’t have any here in Vancouver or all of Canada for that matter. Everything is pretty at Nordstrom’s lol. The Kate Space bag is so cute. Hmm what would be on my Mother’s Day wish list so hard to decide but I guess if it’s a wish list I don’t have to. There are some Coach bags my eyes have been drawn to some with different colors as I always go for black, brown the basics so something more fun and not so practical. With Spring I always like to look at things whether it be clothes, shoes or bags with color. Would love some nice flowy, light tops that make you think it’s warm outside 🙂 Love the post and the jewellery was beautiful.
Like your mom, I am a COACH girl BUT I would definitely love that Kate Spade you picked out! My wish list would be for updated wardrobe. . . I buy sale pieces here and there but it would be awesome to mix and match an entire wardrobe with shoes and purses and jewelry, pants and dresses and blouses and jackets. . . ahhhh.
