Kids’ Book Review: Duck Soup by Jackie Urbanovic

Kids’ Book Review Day: “Duck Soup”

Today I went into my daughter’s second grade class to read them some books.  One I brought with me is Duck Soup by, Jackie Urbanovic. It’s one of our favorite stories, so I decided I should share it with the readers of MamaLuvsBooks if you haven’t read it with your kids already. It’s a cute story about Max (the duck) who is trying to create his very own soup. He usually just makes others’ recipes. His friends get concerned when they come over and can’t find Max and all they see is his soup cooking on the stove with a duck feather floating on top. Then the story really gets funny. You’ll have to read the rest to find out what happened to Max!
