Kids’ Book Review Day: “P is for Pilgrim” by, Carol Crane

As you’ve read in previous reviews, you know how much I like the Alphabet Book series, so I thought a review of “P is for Pilgrim” would be appropriate for this time of the year!  This wonderful hardback book with beautiful illustrations talks all about Thanksgiving’s traditions and history.  It’s a nice book for kids to learn about the holiday and early settlers here in America.  The book is for 6 years old and up (listed best for grades 3rd-6th), but this book series is of course always interesting for both kids and adults alike.

WHY WE LOVE THIS BOOK:

1.  The educational value of the material
2.  The simple terms it puts information in, but then the more lengthy explanations adults love
3.  The beautiful, colorful illustrations
4.  That is teaches kids the alphabet
5.  It is rated 5 STARS on Amazon!

If you would like to purchase this book, just look on the right sidebar under “Kids’ Book Reviews” and you can purchase it through Amazon.   It’s only $7.95!

Overall, highly recommend this book!  It is listed as appropriate for ages 6 and up and is 40 pages.
