Kids’ Book Review Day: “Planes” by, Byron Barton

My son has LOVED these books since age 1 and now he is 4 1/2 and STILL loves them!  The Byron Barton board books are very easy to read and very interesting/educational.  Boys particularly seem to LOVE them!  My son has collected each and every one.  When he was little he loved to have them in his crib to look at.  The illustrations are bright and engaging.  My son has been obsessed with any mode of transportation, but especially planes (the reason I picked this particular book to discuss).  The book Planes is:

1.  Easy to read (uses simple sentences)

2.  Entertaining (for boys especially)
3.  Is educational and discusses uses for different modes of transportation
4.  Illustrations are vibrant and engaging to look at

Check them out on the right side bar of this page under Kids’ Books to buy them from Amazon.  Collect them all (more shown below)!

Overall, highly recommend this series!  Site says they are recommended for ages 3 and up.  They have about 34 pages.

  3. Excellent series, I’m sure my kid is going to like that! I have stumbled Your post, please stumble mine too: cats with laptops 😉

  4. My son would love the Trucks book! I just lucked up in a grab bag of books I picked up at a consignment sale and got a Tonka Trucks book that my DS is in love with! We’re looking to expand his book collection, so I’ll have to add this one to the list.

I stumbled your post and would love a stumble back .
