It’s Earth Day! Celebrate by Watching “Wings of Life”

What’s better to do on Earth Day than watching videos that show how beautiful nature is on this Earth? My kids have ALWAYS been obsessed with nature, and my daughter in particular with butterflies. I’ve even let her get caterpillars and we watched them go through their cycle to become butterflies. She had a blast with that and we let them free in the front yard. When I got Wings of Life to show her she was very excited. My kids love watching anything on The Discovery Channel, so this type of movie was right up their alley.

And they still love butterflies (and anything that flies) even to this day. The movie actually shows many insects and mammals that fly. My son was very intrigued by the hummingbirds and bats. It’s a very educational movie, yet it holds the kids’ interest. My kids are 6 and 8 and they watched the entire movie. Make sure to check it out TODAY!!! It was released April 16th and ready for you to purchase!!!

More About Wings of Life:

Directed by Louie Schwartzberg (“America’s Heart & Soul”) and narrated by Academy Award® winner Meryl Streep, Wings of Life takes a spectacular, closer-than-close, high-definition look at the intricate world of butterflies, hummingbirds, bees and bats, and their life-sustaining collaboration with flowers.

I asked my kids out of 5 (with 5 being the BEST) what they would rate it!!! They gave it a raving 5 out of 5!
Check out the trailer below to see why this movie is great to show the kids for Earth Day!
