“The Kings of Charleston” by Kat H. Clayton
~ A Book of Adventure, Mystery, and Choices ~
The Kings of Charleston by Kat H. Clayton

This book is the first of what may potentially be a series, at least all her fans are hoping it is! I believe the next book will be out early next year, and I can’t wait! Want a read that includes some mystery, romance, and action all combined? You’ll want to pick up “The Kings of Charleston” by Kat H. Clayton. If you know someone who loves books like this, it might be one you’ll want to purchase for them for a gift this holiday season!
So, what’s the story about? I don‘t want to give away too much, but I’ll tell you a little overview. It’s about a teenage girl named Casper whose family moves her to Charleston, SC her senior year of high school. Unfortunately, the move causes her to leave behind what she loves most, her horses. She meets some people once in Charleston, one being a handsome boy by the name of Cal. Now, it’s not just a normal story of boy meets girl, Casper soon realizes her family is in Charleston for other reasons she was unaware of and it all revolves around a name she keeps seeing……Kythera! It’s everywhere. What does it mean? Why are they there? You’ll have to read it to find out!
This book is a page turner and keeps you wanting to read more at the end of each chapter! I love books like that!!! Who doesn’t? The author develops the storyline and gets you involved with the characters and you’ll yearn to know what will happen with them next.
About the Author (from Amazon.com):
The Kings of Charleston by Kat H. Clayton

I’ve been a writer my entire life, but never pursued a writing career until a couple of years ago. I can remember as a kid making up stories and living in my imagination. As an only child, writing had always been a great source of entertainment and joy. It’s a childhood entertainment that has followed me into adulthood and has become my passion.

I’ve also always been an avid reader. In middle school I began reading Mary Higgins Clark (I’ve read every single mystery she has written to date) R.L. Stein and V.C. Andrews. I continue to read and enjoy a variety of authors today.

I love to travel, try out new recipes and hang out with my wonderful husband, our dog named Lil and our crazy cat, Frank.
