My very Favorite Halloween Memory is when a 19 year old Black Boy told me that he was going to come Trick Or Treating at my house with his nieces & nephews and I ask him if he meant that he would be just walking with them and he told me NO that he was Trick or Treating himself to get himself some candy, and I told him that he was TO OLD for Trick or Treating and that he better not come to my house expecting a Treat, but what do you know,he came anyway so when my brother-in-law saw him coming to the door he took a stuffed Rattlesnake and sat it in the candy bowl and proceeded to open the door when the knock came.I tell you that I have never seen someone run as fast as that boy did.We never had a problem with him ever trying to Trick or Treating at our house again.I guess a little trick instead of a treat taught him something.LOL

  21. My favorite memory was eagerly waiting for my dad to get off work. We would ask when we could go trick-or-treating, and he would say, “When I’m done with supper.” We would wolf down our meal, but my dad would take his time, eating really slowly just to torment us. Then he would yawn and stretch and ask for seconds. It was excruciating! Finally, after sitting at the table poking at his teeth with a toothpick, he would say, “I guess it’s time.” AAGH! The anticipation! 🙂

  22. When I was old enough to go trick or treating with my friends, no adults! 🙂

  23. I remember my uncle was wearing a Jason mask and he chased my sisters and I around with a fake machete. It’s scared the crap out of us. Thanks for the chance.

  42. My favourite Halloween memory is last years Halloween, because It was my first. We don’t really celebrate it in Australia so it was fantastic for me to see how Americans do it bigger and better. I took my son around the local area trick or treating and saw heaps of other very excited children doing the same.
