  6. Small stores in general, but sometimes you can’t help but head into the big stores for a bit of everything!

  7. bigger , they have more of a selection

  8. Both! 🙂

  9. I prefer the smaller stores but in my town they have all closed. We usually go to Target or Walmart.

  14. i loved toyr us as a child…. still do really

  15. I love supporting small business and smaller family shops. If I’m looking for something specific though, I will go to a big shop because they have a bigger selection.

  16. Lori Goldstein says:

There don’t seem to be any more of the Ma and Pa type toy stores but those are definitely my preference. Big box toy stores are too impersonal.

  17. I like all toys stores because the excitement on my daughter’s face makes it enjoyable no matter where we are, love those moments!

  18. Big ones. We really don’t have any small family owned ones around where I live.

  19. sarahminder says:

Depends on the item I am looking for.

  20. I like both! I have found that the hometown stores are more expensive though.

  21. stacey lang lampkin says:

I would rather pay more and stand in much shorter lines and be treated with respect at a smaller, local store than deal with the insanity of chain stores.

  22. I like smaller toy stores. It’s nice when people appreciate your business.

  33. I love to support small family owned stores!

  34. Big toy store.. We dont have a small local toy store where I live..

  35. It really depends on what I’m looking for and where I can get the best deal =) I love to shop local when I can but we really have Very few choices locally, so Alot of mine is done either Out of state (closest place for most stores to me) or Online.

  36. I like to buy where ever I can get the deal on a toy. I would LOVE to always buy from the local small shop.. but I find the deal is not always the best there. 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway!

  37. I like them both really.

  38. I like big stores, little stores, medium stores, online stores, you name it!

  39. I like big toy stores. My odds of finding what I’m shopping for are that much better in a big store! (Plus we don’t have any small stores by us, so there is that. lol)

  62. I prefer big stores.

  63. Local stores have cute things that you can’t find anywhere else, but big stores have coupons and sales. I like both.

  64. I loved the big Toys R Us in Albany, NY when my daughter was growing up, but I’ve moved and my “baby” is 21 and is going off to graduate school so I really haven’t been in a toy store in about 10 years!! :0)

  65. I prefer small mom and pop stores but unforunately they are disappearing here in CA..only one we have is toys r us along with walmart and target.

  66. I like both, depending on what we are looking for. I truly do “prefer” locally/family owned toy stores. We live in Portland, OR, where we have quite a few excellent independent shops that I love to support & get more unique items at. But trying to go find a marvel character toy or a reasonably priced pool or sandbox at a great local shop just isn’t an option 😉
    Thanks!

    • I’m not sure why it’s not letting me paste the URL anywhere… Even here in this comment. Perhaps it’s because I’m on an iPad & it’s being wonky? I tweeted the entry tweet two separate times as user @ChevSopkin
      Thank you!!!

My children in my class will be with me all they way till 6th grade where they will then transfer to another class. We are just ending are kindergarten year on the 20th.
