Nutrisystem Week 7 – There is no good time to lose weight!

The Seventh Week………

I am in my seventh week on the Nutrisystem diet. I am still having issues with my Achilles tendon. This definitely hampers the weight loss process. I know if I could exercise then my progress would be much faster. I had a rough week because I was in charge of reading week at my daughter’s school and away from home all day every day. I did a good job staying away from the treats dropped off from parents, but I didn’t do as well with my water and healthy snacks. I know I could make all the excuses in the world (because that’s what many dieters do), but I realize there is no good time to lose weight. Life has challenges constantly, so you just need to make eating healthier your new way of life. Instead of being a “dieter” I am now just “healthier me.” I am proud of myself for making better choices. I just wish I had the ability to exercise as well.

One thing I wanted to share this week was my favorite meal from Nutrisystem. It is the Steak Tagliata. It’s one of the Chef’s Table Entree meals from Nutrisystem. Great flavor and very filling. Try it if you haven’t.
Also see the other Chef’s Table Entrees below. Super yummy! If you missed any of my first few Nutrisystem posts, please read them HERE so you can see where I started.

  1. I hate diets but I do try to make healthier choices. If I deprive myself – I will always find a way to get chocolate. Kudos on your progress! Keep working at it!!!

  8. All of those meals look absolutely delicious! Wow. I haven’t been actively trying to lose weight but I’ve been thinking about it, does that count? Only thing I’ve done is limiting my Iced Capps from Tim Hortons although I still have them a lot.

  9. Wow! I’m on a diet also but these meals look delicious.

  10. I don’t eat steak but I love all the Chef’s Table meals that I HAVE tried! They’re so yummy! 🙂

  12. oh yum – I really may need to try this system. The food looks great and I love that it already is portioned out for you so that you get a good sense of true, healthy portion sizes of each type of food in the food groups.
Good luck and keep up the great work!
You’ll be able to sing “I’m sexy and I know it” with true confidence soon enough!

  13. They look yummy, even though you didn’t lose anything this week at least you didn’t gain anything 🙂

  14. So true about there being no good time to lose weight! I have thought about doing this diet for a while (especially when I am pregnant and worried about weight loss after I have the baby!) I have also been trying to change my way of eating instead of just doing a diet. I haven generally avoided diets because I wanted to start eating healthier and eaten in moderation instead of be on a diet that I wouldn’t do forever. I did do a diet a year ago that included tons more veggies than I had originally had and it actually made me eat better in the long run even off the diet so I now don’t think diets are such a bad idea at times.

  15. I agree, there really isn’t a great time to “diet” but it’s always the BEST time to try to be a healthier you!!

I’ve had a bad week thus far. I’ve been craving sugar horribly, yet I haven’t been as determined in my water and vitamin intake which really impacts that sugar craving.

Good luck on your journey and congrats on the current 4 lb loss!!
