Book Review By MamaLuvsBooks:
Hey, Get a Job! is a great resource book for teens. It’s a manual that takes them through the entire process of researching a job, writing a resume, filling out an application, interviewing, and even advice on how to keep their job! There is some great advice in this book, along with practical and useful tips!

This book is written in language the kids relate to and can understand. The layout is also very user-friendly and has an area for kids to take notes. I can see this book being used as a textbook in an “Employment Class” for teens, or just for parents to pick-up for their own kids to guide them in getting and keeping a job.

My favorite parts of the book were the “key” components at the end of each section, and that it also had the exact documents as an example (like tax forms). I would definitely recommend this book to people I know that have teenagers or to teachers at the middle and high school level. Oh, and the best part is the beginning where they list “The Rules of Life!” A must read and so very true!

THINGS I LOVE ABOUT THE BOOK:

1. It is fun to read with descriptive instructional sections
2. It has relevant topics and language that kids can relate to
3. It is a great resource book that can be read over and over and referred back to
4. The points they make and advice/tips they give are great examples
5. Really like the “Key” components sections at the end of each chapter

6. It can be used in a school setting or at home
7. It’s a good price and you can get it on Amazon with FREE SUPER SAVER SHIPPING!
