  1. What did you think about the Hunger Games? I saw a preview for the movie while waiting for Breaking Dawn to start and it just seemed so… weird… but I’ve heard several people say that the books were awesome, so I’m curious!

    If you like easy reads try Heather Wardell and Heather Huffman. I love their books. If you have a Nook some of them may be free. I would be interested to know what you think of them.

  5. Thanks for the suggestions! I just got a Kindle and need a list. I read Stardust recently, but the movie was sooo much better. The book was kind of lame.

  13. Diana Gabaldon with her series of books specifically Outlander and all the ones that follow. I also like Iris Johansen with her character Eve Duncan forensic sculptor. In to that right now as she’s had several books with the character Eve whose looking for closure on her missing daughter of over 10 years and who killed her. 3 books were just released that bring the search (finally to an end). I’m on #3 of them “Bonnie” which is the daughter’s name. As you can see enjoying it and finally getting to know what happened 🙂

  15. I liked the Hunger Games, and cannot wait to see the movie this year. I also love Jodi Piccoult. Great books! I am going to have to look at Amazon to read more about your other favs.

  16. How bad is it that I read zero books this year!??? Seriously, when do you read? I have a hard time reading with any distractions, so I can’t do it when the kids are up. I guess I could/should read at night and forgo some of my internet time! That would be healthier for me in the long run anyway.., 🙂

  17. Oh I loved House Rules too! Whenever Jodi Picoult comes out with a new book, I am right there on it. One of my favorites was The Baby Planner by Josie Brown. I also enjoyed The Taker by Alma Katsu.

  19. I completely concur with Hunger Games. Seriously, the best series I’ve read in a while. I haven’t read the others you posted about, but totally putting them on my must-read list now!
