Kids’ Book Review Day: “Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type”

“Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type,” by Doreen Cronin is a funny story about farm animals and the farmer that keeps him.  They type their requests on a typewriter and send him letters, but he refuses to meet their needs.  It goes back and forth, they protest, they come to an understanding.  It’s funny and light-hearted.  My kids laugh every time we read it.  I won’t tell you the end, but it’s funny!!!

WHY WE LOVE THIS BOOK:

1.  Easy to read and a FUNNY story!!!
2.  Hardback or paperback options, 32 pages (and now comes with a CD)
3.  The Illustrations by Betsy Lewin are colorful and humorous.
4.  It received the “Caldecott Honor Medal
5.  It is rated 5 STARS on Amazon!

If you would like to purchase this book, just look on the right sidebar under “Kids’ Book Reviews” and you can purchase it through Amazon.  The book is normally $9.99, but now comes with a CD so kids can hear the story read to them.  CDs to follow along with are nice ways for kids to practice their reading skills.
