What is Mommy Reading? – “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” by, Stieg Larsson

This book was a little slow to get into for me, but once you got past the introductions of everyone and the political set-up the book moved very quickly.  I've always been drawn towards mysteries, and this book keeps you guessing until the end.  The series reminds me of the Da Vinci Code books with it's fast-action, running around of the characters, and finding clues along the way.  I would recommend this book for any gender to read, and … [Read more...]

What is Mommy Reading? – “Waiting” by, Ha Jin

"Waiting," by Ha Jin was one of those book club read for me as a book I probably would not have found or read on my own, but since it was the book club choice I read it.  I am intrigued by the Chinese culture, but I was unsure if the story would be interesting and compelling enough to want to read.  I must admit it seemed to start a bit slow for me, but the more I read the more I wanted to read.  The title is perfect for the book as everything … [Read more...]
